4th Avenue's Unique Charms
Called Tucson's "most eclectic shopping district," the avenue boasts a bohemian feel, with local artisans offering vintage and boutique clothing, jewelry, furniture, artwork, antiques, handcrafted and imported wares, and a food co-op. Cafés and restaurants include some of Tucson's best-loved establishments-from pizza parlors to ice cream shops. Those who walk along the tree-lined avenue may encounter everyone from dog walkers to techies sipping lattes to children in face paint. The Fourth Avenue Street Fair, held in spring and winter, attracts more than 400 artisans, plus food vendors and live entertainment.
