Just west of downtown sits Sentinel Peak, otherwise known as "A" Mountain. Since 1916, U of A freshmen have made a yearly tradition of painting the namesake letter "A;" drive to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the city. At the base sits Mission Garden, which recreates Tucson's 4,000-year agricultural history. The end stop for SunLink disembarks next to Mercado San AgustÃn, the city's premier public market. Regional eateries, including a Mexican bakery and taqueria, surround a center courtyard, while local artisans and a posh French restaurant anchor the rest of the center. Folks gather here for a weekly farmers market, plus outdoor movies, food truck round-ups and live concerts.
